Question by Simba: What sport has the most superstitious athletes?
I know many sports have superstitions that athletes believe in (whether temporary for the playoffs, or life long.) But which sport is the worst, or most superstitious?
Nigel – I practice karate. First, we do not all meditate. But those that do, it is for relaxation not superstition.

physical activity and competition that cannot be mastered by mere repitition.

ex. Bowling and darts – you just do the same thing so its not a sport. and cards aren’t sports because there is no physical activity.

if you’re cheering in a competition I think its a sport. Same with figure skating. Not sure how you can say that isn’t a sport given the amount of skill it takes.

I am asking this question out of interest to see how each person feels the difference between sport bikes and what makes sum harder to ride then others. I would like to get people with person experience on the different types of “sport bikes”. To clarify I want you to say what separates driving the 600cc from others like the 1000cc to the 1400cc. What may differentiate each from each other and what would make them harder to drive over others. Remember this is all on personal experience and like all things, different people can have different experiences.This question is not limited to just the ones listed it for all sports, and super sports.

Common sense and stupidity! Just like anything, you have to learn to crawl before you can walk. That and if you can afford the insurance. I rode a 600cc bike for 7yrs without out-growing it, not many people will even come close to outgrowing or exceeding the capabilities of a modern day 600cc sportbike.

I think they all have changed, and not for the better.
Tennis- Racquets so powerful it’s impossible to play a serve and volley game anymore.
Baseball-Steroid juiced monsters making homeruns a hohum thing. Lazy admirers failing to run out hits.
Football-300 pound plus lineman endangering their health, boring predictable play calling, prevent defense never works.
Basketball is Basketbrawl
Hockey-No more open ice, defense oriented, neautral zone trap crap

I like my sports.
And they all have they’re toughness and they’re complete out ignorance [like track, MY OPINION!!]
Name as many sports you know [realllllly know] and list them 1 through how many you decide.

1 being the sport that doesnt acquire much phsyical fitness.
