I want to know how I can recieve a catering license in South Florida and be able to cater to others straight from my home.

Go to your local city/town hall and ask for the application for a catering business.
There should be an information packet on what licensing you will need, how you schedule an inspection by the health inspector, what all the fees are and so on.
