i need some important events that during the 1950s. they have to be international events, its for a project but i just need ideas to make the paper interesting. i at least need 5 important events :]

    Korean War (1950-1953)

    Soviets launch Sputnik (1957)

    1956 Invasion of Hungary: Soviets crush a Democratic revolt.

    Cold War is in place, it will last from 1945 to 1989.

    China falls to communism, Mao Tse-Tung takes rule.
