I don’t really have my own art style. When I see work done in a certain style I really like, I can replicate it. However I like and admire lots of different styles of art.
How can I stick to one style of working and make it my own so that its continuous throughout all of my work?

Don’t worry about having your own style, it will come with time if you just draw what you want to draw. If you force yourself to adopt a personal style, then it won’t be as genuine.

think of it this way if you were running 10 miles would you run it backwards, on your hands, on one foot, or just run/walk it like you normally would.
so its the same thing for swimming so why would you do a stroke thats harder?
the free style is the easiest style to do so wouldnt it make sence to just swim and try to finish?

Question by B X: What style of pants makes you look slimmer?
I need a casual, young pant style that is slimming. I could be completely off (and I probably am) but I was thinking either something like cargo pants with as few pockets as possible, since they are supposed to fit loose, or the total opposite and go dark skinny jeans? Completely open to other suggestions, those were the only styles I could come up with.

I think she’s a tribal dancer, but I’m not sure. I prefer Egyptian Oriental or Arabic styles.

I believe Ansuya is a blend of styles, with it mostly being American Cab. She doesn’t really preform that much tribal that I know of. I don’t have any of her solo DVDs so I can;t say for sure what music she choreographs to but I have a feeling it would tend more toward what the BellyDance Superstars use in their shows (Jillina, the artistic director uses mainly Egyptian). I think you would enjoy Ansuya. I suggest watching some youtube preformances of her. Also, check out Shira.net for a source of DVD reviews.

well boho clothes are really in right now
go for looser tops, destroyed demim, florals, and leather accesories (belts, sandals, and bracelets)
to complete the look sleep with your hair in braids so it has a crimped, beachy look.

I am a 5′4.. 105 pound girl. I am extremely interested in learning some form of martial arts. However, I am a bit clueless on the different styles. I was wondering if anyone who is more experienced in the different styles could help me figure out the best style for me.
I am looking for a powerful more offensive fighting style. I am personally not to big on throws. The more punches and kicks the better. With my small size I believe my quickness may help whichever fighting style I choose.
Also to add to this. I am asking those who know alot about martial arts to begin with. Please don’t tell me to look into martial arts for myself and please don’t give me dumb responses. Just those who’d like to give me their opinion on what fighting style they think would best suit me. Other than that, don’t reply please.

Earthy bohemian is a quirky style full of offbeat visual options.
Pick out your large pieces and find one other thing that’s an inspiration (a rug, a piece of art) and build around there.
My favorite style is Arts & Crafts. I decided that early on, and every time I go shopping, that’s in mind.

well, it depends. you may need to be more specific at times. so i have two answers:
pinning bangs on top of your head:
if you are going for this look, comb your bangs forward so its like you have full-on bangs that cover your eyes probably. then, from the outside corner of your eye, pick up all the hair in between. push all the excess hair behind your ears. then comb your bangs upward towards the ceiling. next, tease the back of your bangs. after that, comb them slowly downward towards the top of you head and clip them. helpful tip: when pinning, try to use a clip instead of a bobby pin, because bobby pins sometimes do not connect your hair and bangs and flatten your bangs.
keeping bangs to the left, but making them poofier:
brush your bangs to the left, like normal. then, take your bangs and brush them outward. next, tease under your bangs. then drop them, and brush down a little bit so theyre not oober puffed. style as usual, and enjoy!
